Stepping into Spring: My Top Picks from the New Balance Collection

Last week, I got the chance to preview the upcoming New Balance Spring Collection, and let me tell you—it’s bringing all the energy! From innovative performance sneakers to retro throwbacks, the collection really showcases why New Balance keeps killing it.

My Story with New Balance

New Balance and I go way back. Ever since I started as a content creator, I’ve been lucky to collaborate with them here in Montreal. One of my favorite projects was last summer’s campaign for the 1906R, exclusively at JD Sports. This sleek silhouette became an instant fave with its perfect mix of comfort and style.

My Top 3 Picks from the Spring Collection

Here are the standout pairs that caught my eye—and trust me, these deserve a spot in your lineup:

  1. Fresh Foam BB v3
The latest addition to New Balance’s basketball line is built for performance but doesn’t sacrifice style. The Fresh Foam BB v3 has that perfect on-court, off-court vibe, and the new colorways? Absolute fire. This is one to watch if you’re into hoops culture.

New Balance 1000
Talk about retro-futuristic! The 1000 is back from the early 2000s, and it’s giving serious chunky dad shoe energy. The suede accents and lightweight cushioning make it stylish and comfy. Whether you’re running errands or just rocking a casual look, this is an easy win.

740v2 ‘Concord Grape Sun Glow’
My personal favorite. This reimagined classic from the early 2010s shines in the Concord Grape/Purple Fuchsia/Sun Glow/Firefly colorway. It’s bold, fresh, and just screams spring vibes. You can’t go wrong with this one.

For me, New Balance isn’t just about sneakers; it’s about how they combine innovation, comfort, and timeless design. Their pieces fit seamlessly into everyday life, whether I’m out creating content or just hanging out.

If you’re as hyped as I am, check out more of their upcoming launches here. With a lineup like this, spring is going to be a whole vibe.
