Savor Montreal's Finest: Netflix in Your Neighbourhood Culinary Adventure

If you know me, you know I'm obsessed with discovering the best eats in Montreal. So, when I found out about the Netflix in Your Neighbourhood restaurant experience, I was thrilled! This unique culinary adventure lets you explore some of the city's most delectable eateries while connecting with your favorite Netflix shows and films. How cool is that?

What are the Restaurants in Montreal?

There are currently five participating restaurants in Montreal, some that I’ve tried before and others that are now on my must-visit list. The concept is pure genius—each restaurant has crafted a special menu item inspired by a popular Netflix title. It's the perfect opportunity to indulge your taste buds while reminiscing about the shows that have kept you glued to your screen.

Here are the featured restaurants:

  • Ma Poule Mouillé (As seen in Somebody Feed Phil)

  • Montréal Plaza (As seen in Somebody Feed Phil)

  • Park (As seen in Somebody Feed Phil)

  • Maman (Featured in Single All The Way)

  • Loam (As seen in The Recruit)

Why This Is Amazing

Seeing a restaurant from your city on television is one thing, but being able to visit and try it out yourself is quite another. I’ve tried 3 out of the 5 listed, and they are fantastic choices. For example, I visited Ma Poule Mouillé for their Portuguese chicken, which was an unforgettable experience. Loam is another favorite of mine; I've been friends with the owner for years and even hosted a brunch party there. It was so cool to see it featured in episode 7 of The Recruit. I also tried Maman when they first opened and loved it, so I'm curious to see how it’s portrayed in Single All The Way.

Could It Be a Full-Day Adventure?

Now, is it possible to try all of them in one day? It’s a challenge since they're not exactly next to each other, but I believe it can be done. Personally, I would grab a bite from each and make it a food tour. One restaurant that’s been on my list for years is Park, owned by Montreal’s chef Antonio Park. The reviews are stellar, and I can’t wait to check it out.

A Blend of Passions

As a content creator, I'm always on the lookout for unique experiences that blend my passions for food, travel, and storytelling. The Netflix in Your Neighbourhood event does just that, allowing me to explore Montreal's culinary scene while discovering new perspectives on some of my favorite Netflix shows.
