Discover Montreal's Best Eats with "STM - Si T'aime Manger"

Hey food lovers! If you've been following my culinary adventures, you know how passionate I am about food. Last year, I took you around the world with my series "Saveurs du Globe," where I spun the globe and found a restaurant in Montreal representing each country. This year, I'm keeping it local but just as exciting with my new series, "STM - Si T'aime Montreal." The name is a fun play on words—STM usually stands for Société de Transport de Montréal, but in my series, it also means "Si t'aime manger," which translates to "If you love to eat."

What’s the Series About?

In this series, I’m on a mission to uncover the best restaurants near each metro station in Montreal. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this guide will help you discover some hidden gems and long-time favorites across the city. Each week, I’ll release a new episode that highlights a different eatery, sharing my culinary adventures with you.

Our Journey So Far

Episode 1: Metro Laurier – Le Greenfield

We kicked things off at Metro Laurier with a visit to Le Greenfield, an African-Caribbean restaurant. This spot has been blowing up on Google with amazing ratings, and after my visit, I can see why! The flavors were out of this world, and the atmosphere made for an unforgettable dining experience. If you’re a fan of rich, vibrant dishes, you definitely need to check this place out.

Episode 2: Metro Jean-Talon – Le Petit Alep

Next, I headed to Metro Jean-Talon to discover Le Petit Alep. This Mediterranean restaurant has been a staple in Montreal since 1967. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the history and tradition in the air. The food? Absolutely phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and full of that Mediterranean zest. It's a perfect spot for anyone who loves hearty, wholesome meals.

Episode 3: Metro Pie-IX – Montreal’s Street Food Festival "Les Premiers Vendredis"

For the third episode, I did something a little different and took you to Montreal’s Street Food Festival, Les Premiers Vendredis, at Metro Pie-IX. This festival is a must-visit, happening only on the first weekend of each summer month. The variety of street food is incredible, and it's the best way to sample multiple cuisines in one spot. It was an absolute blast, and I can’t wait for the next one!

What’s Next?

The series has been a hit so far, with over 150K views across the first three episodes. I’ve been thrilled with the response and can’t wait to share more foodie adventures with you. The plan is to release one episode a week, so stay tuned for more mouthwatering content!
